Screw cleaning idlers are primarily used to remove debris adhering to conveyor belts and also function as belt aligners. The construction consists of:
- Welding left-right spiral round steel with diameters of 10 to 14 mm onto the surface of standard idlers
- Or adding a spiral groove rubber sleeve on the exterior to enhance overall wear resistance
These idlers effectively clean adhesive materials from the belt, ensuring the service life of belt conveyor systems while also providing self-aligning and deviation-preventing capabilities.
